About Me

My Journey

My journey into ‘alternative’ medicine started a number of years ago when I went through a period of chronic illness. It was clear that no prescriptions were going to help so I set about finding other ways to regain and take control of my health. This ultimately led me to the door of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I have developed a passion for this form of medicine and the holistic way it enables me to help people deal with health problems they encounter and the stresses and strains of modern living.

I started my initial training in Chinese Medicine in 2008 at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and went on to complete my degree at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and Five Element Acupuncture.

Prior to this I taught for a number of years in secondary schools in East London and still retain my interest in teaching by helping acupuncture students in various ways as they embark on their journey to become practitioners.

Whilst I enjoy general practise and the variety of people this brings to my door, as a lifelong learner I am always looking to further my expertise and have taken specialised courses in:
